How long does the exhibition take?
När du har gått in i utställningen är vistelsetiden obegränsad. Vi rekommenderar att du planerar in ca 1-1,5 timme för ditt besök. Tiden beror på hur länge du vill titta på varje verk och om du vill läsa all information som finns tillgänglig. När du har lämnat utställningen kan du inte komma in igen.
What is an "immersive experience"?
The exhibition presents Frida Kahlo's art and life through 360-degree film projections, sound, and light effects that make you, as a visitor, feel as though you’ve been transported directly into her artwork.
Is the exhibition available in English?
Both text and audio can be read and listened to in Swedish and English. You can also scan a QR code to access the English translations on your phone.
Is it possible to have a guide?
There is no physical guide. As a visitor, you are guided through the exhibition by its content – text, images, audio, and projections. Both text and audio are available in Swedish and English.
Is there an age limit for the exhibition?
The exhibition is open to all ages, but it does not hide the pain and challenges Frida Kahlo faced in her life. Some parts of the exhibition show her story and art in a way that might feel intense or emotional.
Accessibility
The exhibition is adapted and accessible to everyone.
Parking
The number of parking spaces near Amiralen is limited, so we recommend using public transportation.
Souvenirs
The exhibition features a shop with a wide range of souvenirs and gifts for Frida Kahlo enthusiasts. From postcards and magnets to mugs and keychains.
Food and drinks
In the exhibition, there is a café. The café opens one hour after the exhibition's opening.

Do I need to print my ticket?
No, it is fine to show the ticket on your mobile as long as the scanning or QR code is visible – either as a PDF in an email or as an SMS.
Can I make a group booking?

Do companions get free admission?
Companions for visitors with disabilities have free admission and should bring valid documentation. To secure your spot, contact Julius Ticket Service at +46 775 – 700 400 or info@juliusbiljettservice.se. Subject to availability, tickets and companion tickets can also be purchased at the entrance.
Har ni några rabatter?
Ja, vi har rabatter för barn 7-15 år**, studenter och pensionärer***, skolklasser och grupper****.
**Children under 7 years old enter for free when accompanied by an adult. A maximum of 3 children per adult.
*** Senior price applies from the age of 65 with proof of identification. It also applies to early retirees with proof of their card.
*** Group prices apply for groups of 10 or more and can be purchased through Julius Biljettservice Group Booking at +46 (0)46-280 45 50 or biljettbokning@juliusbiljettservice.se. The school class price applies to primary school, high school, after-school programs, and university/college visits on weekdays (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). The class must be led by a teacher.

About the exhibition
Do I need to come in the beginning of my time slot? What happens if I am late?
It is recommended that you arrive at the beginning of your time slot, but you have the option to enter at any time during the 30-minute period your entry ticket is valid. If you arrive earlier or later, you may be allowed entry outside your time slot, depending on availability, or at the next available time. This will be determined by the staff on-site.

Strollers
Strollers can be brought into the exhibition, subject to availability of space. This will be determined by the staff on-site. During busy times, the stroller may need to be left at the entrance.
Epilepsy
Viva Frida Kahlo does not contain strobe lights, but people with epilepsy should exercise caution as there are flashing images
Animals
Only guide or assistance dogs are allowed in the exhibition. This must be notified in advance at: info@vivafridakahlo.se
Will the exhibition be coming to other cities?
At the moment, nothing is confirmed.
